Hallo,

Gruss

Hallo,

im Forum "elsmar cove quality" habe ich hierzu folgende Hinweise gefunden ( alles in englisch): --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We took a quick glance at the changes over the weekend and found the following (not necessary a complete list).

................
Auditor:
Auditor requirements have increased beyond being a qualified QMS internal auditor. In addition, five years of heat treat experience and/or metallurgical training is required, along with Core Tools familiarity. Team leader (if more
than one person on team) must be qualified QMS internal auditor.

Sections of CQI-9 standard have been renumbered. Introduction was Section 1 of 1st Edition.

TERMINOLOGY: In addition to “shall” being a requirement and “such as” used for guidance, the 2nd Edition adds “should” to be interpreted as a recommendation.

Changes in 2nd Edition are not explicitly identified in the standard.

1 (new) Scope

Reference documents have been added: AMS 2750D (Pyrometry), SAE J415 (Definition of Heat Treat Terms), and SAE J684 (Surface Hardness Testing with Files)

2 - Heat Treat Assessment
Action requirement added for “Not Satisfactory” finding, including containment of all non-conforming product.
All corrective action is to be completed within 90 days of completion of audit.

3 – Special Process: Heat Treat Assessment (Heat Treat Survey Sections 1-3)
Adds Line 16 to Cover Sheet for number of “Needs Immediate Attention” findings.
Adds Line 17 to Cover Sheet for number of “Fail” findings (from Job Audit)
Automotive specific references, such as APQP and PPAP, have been modified to “advanced quality planning” and “part approval.”

New section (two pages) added for General Notes relative to AMS 2750D (Pyrometry) issues. Allowable exceptions to pyrometry standard are noted.
Specific wording changes are made to paragraphs 2.5, 2.6, 3.4, and 3.7 which eliminate non-technical terms such as “green material” and add specific references to AMS 2750D.

Section 4 – Job Audit (Heat Treat Survey Section 4)
Automotive specific references have been changed.
Paragraphs 4.19 and 4.20 changed to reference identification and labeling of product.

Appendix – Process Tables

Table D Induction Hardening – Increase frequencies of part inspections.

Table E added to cover other processes.

Glossary – a number of terms have been added or deleted.

Hallo,

Coating: PVD, DLC, Phosphatieren
